Mira Bahgat (Mira.) is an Egyptian/Syrian Singer-Songwriter, Actor, and Director based in New York City. Her music spans across a multitude of genres including Neo Soul, R&B, Rock, Jazz, and Arabic Folk. Her songs speak on topics surrounding anxiety, depression, love, loss, and her identity as an Arab woman. Having grown up in Cairo with a father who had a likeliness for American Soul and Jazz music, her most notable influences range from Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald, and The Bee Gees to Fairuz and Om Kalthoum.
